Pam Gibson
Natick, Massachusetts
First PMC: 1989
Pam Gibson has designed every PMC rider jersey since 1990.
"Each one is an admission to an elite club," says Gibson,
who lives on the shore of Lake Cochichuate with her husband
and three children, "because people know that the only way
to get one is to ride the event." As a graphic designer, Gibson
has seen several industry changes since she founded her graphic
design company in 1986. "There was more of a collaborative
spirit in design when I started out," says Gibson, who trained
as a potter before shifting to graphic in college. "You used
to hire photographers, typographers, illustrators, printers.
Now, with computer graphics, the designer fills all those
functions."
"I love seeing a sea of people wearing that jersey."
